Google Developer Program Enrollment

To host an app in the Google Play Store, you must create a developer account with Google. There is a one-time $25 fee for a developer account, and a Gmail account is required to enroll.

Before we start

We need to meet certain conditions before beginning the enrollment process to ensure everything goes smoothly.

• Create a Gmail Account: Follow this link to create a free Gmail account.
• Add Verification Security: Let's keep your account secure and up to code by following this guide on setting up two-factor verification.

Steps

1. Navigate to https://play.google.com/console/signup‍
2. Gmail Account: Please ensure that you are logged in to the correct Gmail account before confirming your Google Play account. The account you are logged in to should be the one you want your Google Play account associated with. You can find this information in the top left corner of the Google Play Console.
3. Get Started: Click on the "Get Started" button located within the "Organization or Business" card.

4. Organization Info: Please fill in the information relating to your organization.

5. Contact Info: Please enter your contact information.

6. Terms of Service: Check the confirmation boxes if you agree to the terms.
   Note: This is required to set up an account.
7. Account Creation: Click "Create account and pay" button

Next Up

You may be asked to verify your identity using a valid ID to complete your account registration. Your identification will need to be verified before we can proceed with the following steps.

• Verify ID: If Google requests to verify your identity, please comply and follow their steps.
