Apple Developer Program Enrollment

To host an app in the App Store, you must create a developer account with Apple. The annual fee for a developer account is $99, and we recommend setting the payment option to auto-renew so that there will be no disturbance on your end once it has been activated.

Before we start

We need to meet certain conditions before beginning the enrollment process to ensure everything goes smoothly.

• Legal Entity Status: Your business must be recognized as a legal entity (corporation, limited liability company, or limited partnership)
• A D-U-N-S® Number: Your organization must have a D-U-N-S number to verify your organization's identity and legal entity status.
• Legal Binding Authority: You have the legal authority to bind your organization to legal agreements.
• A Website: A publicly available website and domain name that is associated with your organization
• Already have a developer account? If you have an existing developer program that is registered as a Sole Proprietorship or Individual account, you must transition the membership to an Organization account.

Steps

1. Navigate to https://developer.apple.com/programs/enroll/‍
2. Start Enrollment: Select the ‘Start Your Enrollment’ button.

3. Login: Sign in with an existing Apple ID or click on ‘Create Apple ID’ to create a new account.

4. Select your entity type: Under the "Select your entity type." section, select ‘Company/Organization’ and press "Continue".
   ‍Note: It’s vital that you enroll as a ‘Company/Organization’, as Individual Accounts are NOT supported.

5. Organization info: Enter your organization's legal entity name, and the D-U-N-S number. Complete the captcha security and press continue.

7. Personal information: Please enter your personal contact information for the Apple Developer account.
8. Developer agreement: Read the Apple Developer Agreement and sign off by checking the box and selecting the ‘Submit’ button in the bottom right corner.
9. Enrollment confirmation: Review and confirm that the information you have entered is correct.
10. Apple review and verification: You can expect to hear back from Apple within 24-48 hours via the provided email or phone number to verify your enrollment.
11. Finalizing the enrollment: Following Apple's verification, revisit the Apple Developer dashboard to complete your billing information and press ‘Continue’ to complete the payment and setup of your Apple Developer account.

Next Up

Once your Apple Developer Account has been created, it can take up to 24 hours for the payment to process. You will receive an email once this process is complete. Once you can access your Apple Developer dashboard, please invite Loyaltylive to join the account so we can upload and submit your app build.
