With loyaltylive’s loyalty systems, you can sync directly with your Square Loyalty settings or create your own in-app exclusive loyalty rewards program.
Your customers earn points for every purchase they make in the app. Your customers only need to sign up for an account in the app to start accruing their loyalty points.
You can customize your loyalty program to incentivize the best possible customer interactions. When your customers collect sufficient points, they can spend them at check out to receive a discount on their next purchase.
Loyalty Actions
In the Loyalty/Actions tab, you can define how many points your customers earn per dollar spent and customize the referral reward settings. We suggest keeping points earned to 1 point per $1 spent for easy tacking and calculation.
*Note: The total Amount Spent is tax-exclusive, meaning your customers will only earn points for each dollar spent in the subtotal.
In the Loyalty/Actions tab, you can create a referral promotion that awards both the referrer and referee for installing the app and creating an account. Here, you can define a $ amount promotion that will apply automatically to both users’ accounts if the referrer completes the trigger. The trigger can either be on sign-up or a purchase event.
Loyalty Rewards
In the Loyalty/Rewards tab, you can define four different tiered discounts for points options. We recommend the following structure for ease of use:
These values are simple for the customers to track. However, if you’d like to incentivize your customers to spend more to collect more points, you can incentivize the larger points values with an increased discount. For example:
In addition to offering direct $ off discounts, you can switch from $ discount to % discounts in the settings.
*Note: You cannot mix and match $ and % rewards. We also highly recommend keeping the rewards at $ discount, so the rewards do not scale with cart value.
VIP Club
With Loyaltylive’s loyalty program features, you can create a tiered VIP club for your customers. In the Loyalty/VIP/Settings, you can enable this feature.
Settings
Once you have enabled the feature, you can create a custom name for your VIP club and define the threshold type customers need to reach to unlock new tiers.
Tier List
Within the Tier List page, you can create multiple VIP tiers for your customers to reach. Each tier can be fully customized, from its appearance to perks and threshold requirements. For example, when we click “Add a Tier”, we can give it its own unique name, “Gold,” and set the Threshold requirement (in this example, we are using “Dollar Spent” as our threshold type) to $100, add a custom perk of 2x points per $1 spent, and give it a nice golden color for the rewards card and rewards screen visuals.
Square Sync
In the Loyalty/Settings page, you can elect to enable a sync with your Square loyalty program. In doing so, Loyaltylive’s Actions and Rewards will follow the rules and settings you have configured in your Square Loyalty account. This feature is only available to clients that are currently utilizing the Square Loyalty program.
